Morning all,

The rain and the gloom continue, but a little ray of sunshine is fast approaching in the form of a long weekend. That's right Queens Birthday weekend means a whole 3 days off work for plenty of us and is surely reason to celebrate. It's traditionally a big great weekend for us down at the club (where its nice, warm, and cosy), and this one won't disappoint, so lets get straight down to business:

Friday - Derrick Carter !!!
This is the one that we know many of you have been waiting for, for a long time. Well, the waiting is almost up! Derrick Carter is Chicago house music, the man defines a sound that has had dance floors grooving all over the globe since the early nineties.

We've been listening to some recent mixes of Derrick's here in the office and can confidently assure you this is a party not to miss! (we'll be the one's dancing on the speakers ;-)

Saturday - Maya and Vanya
Maya and Vanya are a sister duo, originally from Croatia, who have based themselves in Auckland and are doing their thing at various banquets and shindigs around the country. With their eclectic and fun sets teamed with a vast knowledge of music the duo are quickly establishing themselves as in demand DJ's, and their great stage presence is guaranteed to get the dancefloor moving.
