Join us on the Top Floor of Lopdell House for the third of our popular evenings of words and music with some of New Zealand's best poets and local musicians. This month we feature musicians Anna Rugus, Fiona McEwen and Steve Terry and Poets Jack Ross, Raewyn Alexander, Dave Eggleton and Rachael Heimann..

Top Floor of Lopdell House, 7.30pm doors open at 7pm.

With its geographical reach spanning most of the South Island, the event, held at the Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch, is geographically the biggest of the 12 kapa haka regions in New Zealand, and will showcase the best Māori cultural performances in the South Island. This year, the competition has the participation of 13 kapa haka teams, equalling the highest number in the event's history.
