“World 3-Legged Dog Idol”Coming To A Screen Near You

3-legged dog Idol is a world wide interactive online show searching for the best tripod dog on the planet. The champion Canine tripod will win the right to star in a major motion picture called Lucky & Rich... shooting in Prague in February 2010!

3-legged dog Idol is the brain child of Los Angeles-based New Zealand filmmaker Geoff Talbot and will be undertaken in partnership with video platform providers En2go and Digital Stream.

With the initial casting call sent out via the social network twitter in early May... already over eighty 3-legged wannabee movie stars have applied from countries as far flung as New Zealand, America, Wales, England, Greece, Canada and Australia proving that this competition is going global.

This Cinderella story/opportunity for 3-legged dogs has really grabbed the hearts of dog lovers across the globe with over 14 000 people already casting votes in support of their favourite tripod to play "Scrap" in this movie.

Geoff Talbot is encouraging more dogs to apply. He says "We want every 3-legged dog on the face of this planet to hear about this competition and at least have the opportunity to be our star. So far we've had applicants as diverse as Poodles in Los Angeles to Farm Dogs in Outback Australia apply; each dog as an incredible story of courage that deserves to be told."
