This series contains many exclusive interviews with Palestinians who have been at the heart of the armed struggle over the last 50 years: including the last interview given by Yasser Arafat to discuss the history of the Palestinian revolution. Also included are first-time interviews with key operatives of the notorious Black September organization.

PLO: HISTORY OF A REVOLUTION makes use of exclusive archive, some of it used for the first time, as it tells the story of the Palestinian armed struggle since its inception in the 1960s.

The series ends with the death of Arafat – but offers an update on the divisions that have appeared among Palestinian ranks since Arafat’s death, bringing the story right up to Fatah’s loss of Gaza to Hamas.
