Xponential Philanthropy teams up with FINZ

Xponential Philanthropy teams up with FINZ

July 2009: The Fundraising Institute of New Zealand (FINZ) is proud to announce a major new sponsor partnership between FINZ and New Zealand’s big gift specialists Xponential Philanthropy.

Xponential Managing Director, Clive Pedley, says it is an important time to be teaming up with FINZ, the organisation that represents fundraisers in New Zealand. “Xponential Philanthropy is committed to providing the highest standards of fundraising to our clients throughout New Zealand, so teaming up with our own professional body that supports these same values of excellence makes sense. It is a challenging time to be fundraising for important and worthy organisations in New Zealand.  We want to be proactive in the way we support our colleagues and the not-for-profit sector and believe this partnership is an effective way to do so.”

Announcing the sponsorship, James Austin CEO of FINZ, says it is strategically beneficial for FINZ to work with Xponential Philanthropy. “Xponential are an innovative, professional company working throughout New Zealand and Australia. They are committed to the highest fundraising principles and this aligns with the standards FINZ supports in fundraising.”

Mr Austin believes to provide FINZ with a strong voice in the industry they need to work with their members. Mr Austin says, “by teaming up with Xponential, FINZ is being actively supported by its members, while also allowing us to listen to what is happening at the coal face of fundraising on a daily basis. This is vital if we want to keep providing our members with exceptional services and support.”

The sponsorship arrangement will allow FINZ to provide more benefits and educational opportunities to its members with a view to increasing professional standards within the industry. Mr Pedley says “FINZ’s support, education and representation of fundraisers and the not-for-profit sector is crucial and Xponential is excited to be a part of that.”

Mr Austin says, “in tough economic times forward thinking companies like Xponential know that support of their industry bodies is essential. This partnership is Xponential’s commitment to the fundraising industry and FINZ’s place in it and I look forward to working with Clive and the Xponential team.”
