Date Revealed For 2010 Bluff Oyster & Food Festival
The date for the 2010 Bluff Oyster & Food Festival has been set. Saturday 22 May is the day that Bluff will open it's doors to thousands of festival goers next year.
Tickets for the event will go on sale on 20 August. They will be available from www.ticketdirect.co.nz , the Invercargill City Council Booking Office and the Bluff Service Centre. Tickets will cost $16 each with the price for children 12 & under just $5 per ticket.
The 2010 Festival will take place at the Stewart Island Experience site on Foreshore Road, Bluff where it has been held for the past two years. The event will continue to build on the same successful format of recent times with only minor changes designed to add to the enjoyment for festival patrons. The Festival has attracted capacity crowds for the past two years and again in 2010 tickets will be limited. The organising committee stress the need to book in advance.
Information on the Festival will be updated on www.bluffoysterfest.co.nz as planning progresses.
Already numerous inquiries have been received from all over New Zealand seeking information about next year's Festival following on from another extremely successful event this year.
