NZ's first on-line Film Festival

Ziln, NZ’s first internet TV network celebrates its launch with New Zealand’s first on-line Film Festival.

From Friday 4th September Ziln presents ‘The New Ziln Film Festival’ that features a dozen watershed New Zealand feature films including Utu, Goodbye Pork Pie, Ngati, Desperate Remedies, Rain and more, plus New Zealand's first PPV (pay per view) movie release "When Night Falls'.

Three movies each week will screen free for 72 hours from their weekend launch night - Friday, Saturday or Sunday at 6pm - and then be available for DVD purchase through the Ziln Shop.


Week 1: 4-8 September

* Angel Mine - 1978 Rating R18 - Friday, 4 September
* Constance - 1984 Rating PG - Saturday, 5 September
* Utu - 1983 Rating PG - Sunday, 6 September

Week 2: 11-15 September


* Death Warmed Up - 1984 Rating R16 - Friday, 11 September
* Goodbye Pork Pie - 1981 Rating - PG - Saturday, 12 September
* Mr Wrong - 1985 Rating M – Sunday, 13 September

Week 3: 18-22 September

* Silvia - 1985 Rating PG - Friday, 18 September
* Ngati - 1987 Rating PG - Saturday, 19 September
* Desperate Remedies - 1993 Rating M - Sunday, 20 September

Week 4: 25- 29 September
* Rain - 2001 Rating M - Friday, 25 September
* Orphans and Angels – 2003 Rating M Saturday, 26 September
* 1 Nite – 2004 Rating M – Sunday 27 September

ADDITIONAL SPECIAL PREMIERE SCREENING.
New Zealand's first ever pay per view, pay per download film.
When Night Falls - 2007 Rating M - 6pm Sunday, 27 September
Director's Q&A - 7.30 – 8:30PM pm, on Tuesday 29 September, available free to all those who purchase the film.
