The Wellington Phoenix battled North Queensland Fury at Westpac Stadium during the 7th round of the Hyundai A-League football championship. The brilliant strike by midfielder Bertos in the game's sixth-minute was the first of a long series of precision attacks raising the stress level in the visiting team. However, the Phoenix' efforts were frustrated in the 94th minute by a goal from Fury substitute Chris Grossman.
