Do you hate your job?
Do you hate your job?
Do you remember your most mundane awful job? Come watch it be usurped in Postal this week - opening tomorrow, it is a biting comedy from Lucy O'Brien, who has had the misfortune of a hideous job at Australian Post, and wrote it all down for us to laugh at. At the launch we heard about all sorts of cringe-worthy stories, like being Animal Santa, having labelled mugs so Management could see who didn't wash their dishes, and getting milky shards of glass all over you as a milkboy. Great.
Also opening this week (Thursday, to be precise) is Mates & Lovers which boldly brings the history of Gay New Zealand to the stage - and based on an award winning book of the same name. I am sure it will be just as good!
AND it's the final of Two Day Plays on Sunday - the winners will walk away with a tonne of prizes, and I reckon it is going to be tight.
Wow busy huh?! Hope we see you down here for the craziness.
