What's On With Sandwiches

Hello there,

Wow! What a weekend just been, three amazing gigs with three amazing artists. Spor provided the soundtrack to one of the most memorable drum and bass parties of the year on Thursday. Matthew Dear (aka Audion) blew everyone anyway with an increadible live audio visual show on Friday that was quite simply stunning (not to mention the impromtu DJ set that followed). Then NZ's own Optimus Gryme and Billy Fluid rocked a full house on Saturday further proving they are are force to be reckoned with on the dub step scene. Much respect to all of the DJs who played their part, and to all of you who came down and partied!

It's weekends like that which make it all worth while... The best DJs from around the globe on the best soundsystem in the country – Too right!!!

However, that is all in the past now and there is much more to come... Starting this weekend!

Thursday (tonight):
The Lounge Rock Sessions 2.
After a fantastic launch party last month live band SterlingHern and guests are back for round two. Guests this month include Lisa Tomlins, Dobbie Blaze, James Illingworth and more. A great night out with some of the country's best musicians and it's only $5 on the door from 7pm.

Friday:
Stereotype featuring Antix (live)
Antix have been causing quite a stir over in Europe and are just now starting to get the credit they deserve back here at home. The sound is right at the forefront of global club culture. We've been more than a little impressed here in the office listening to a little promo mix we've been sent. You can check it out too by following this link. http://rapidshare.com/files/274170239/Antix-Fiord_Live_June_09.mp3
