The 42Unheard judges have chosen their Top 20
unsigned acts, and now it’s over to the public to choose
who makes it to the final.
The 20 tracks were selected
from an amazing 357 entries, and represent a selection of
the freshest, and most unique unsigned musical talent in NZ.

you think should be one of the finalists, visit
www.mtv42unheard.com. Every vote gets you in the draw to win
one of 10 amazing prize packs including tickets to the final
event, an LG phone, 42BELOW, a Real Groove subscription and
loads more. You can vote once per day.
The top 5 bands
as voted by the public will fight it out in the live final
in December to see who will be crowned winner of the
inaugural 42Unheard competition – and walk away with an
incredible prize including a recording deal from Universal,
music video funding from NZ On Air, a trip to New York to
play at CMJ 2010 and loads more.
