Big Wednesday Platinum Jackpot
Media Release 14 October 2009
Big Wednesday Platinum Jackpot
Big Wednesday has jackpotted this week, which means a $250,000 American Express Platinum card has been added to next week’s prize pool, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.
At the next draw on Wednesday 21 October, Big Wednesday players will be in to win:
- $2 million;
- an Audi R8;
- a Porsche
Cayenne; and
- a $250,000 American Express Platinum
card.
While the top prize wasn’t struck, a lucky player has won $75,000 in Big Wednesday’s Second Chance draw. The winning ticket was sold at Moturoa Locks & Lotto in New Plymouth and the serial number is 507-041577986-13XX.
Every ticket bought for this Wednesday’s draw was entered in the Second Chance draw. The prize won was determined by the H or T selection on the first line of the ticket. As the ticket selection did match the coin toss in the draw, the ticket holder has won $75,000.
“Anyone who bought their ticket at this winning retailer should check it immediately," says Mr McLeay.
There were a total of 51,733 winners in tonight’s draw.
