Egg Maternity Charity Event Successful

On Monday October 12 2009, EGG Maternity Ltd and the Mental Health Foundation hosted a charity evening to raise money for and awareness of Post Natal Depression services.

All proceeds from the evening were donated to the Mental Health Foundation which at present receives no government funding for its Post Natal Depression awareness raising &support activities.

It was held in the beautiful surrounds of the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron on Auckland’s harbour front.

Sheree Carberry of shared her own experience of Post Natal Depression and brought home to all attendees what a devastating condition it is.

This was followed by a fashion show unveiling EGG’s Winter 2010 collection and modeled by entrants in EGG’s recent Pregnant Model Search.

The evening was a great success and would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors and donors – the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron for donating use of their gorgeous ballroom and bar, Hue hair design for styling our models hair, Edenvale for providing non-alcoholic bubbles and all the donors for the wonderful auction items.
