Portrait of Flying Nun founder highlight of new exhibition
A new
exhibition at Suite in Newtown, Wellington will feature a
life-size portrait of Flying Nun founder Roger Shepherd by
Irene Ferguson, winner of the biennial Adam Portraiture
Award.
Here's To A Delightful Weekend In The Country is an end-of-year showcase of eight Suite artists: Arie Hellendoorn, Douglas Stichbury, Jonathan Campbell, Anton Parsons, Irene Ferguson, Fiona Pardington, Simon Edwards and Carlo Van de Roer.
The exhibition will feature painting, sculpture and photography, demonstrating the breadth of artists that Suite represents and exhibits regularly.
An opening with the artists is being held this Friday, 4 December from 5.30-7.30pm.
