Summer Movies Al Fresco
Summer Movies Al Fresco
Summer Movies al Fresco are drawing the crowds and providing a convincing experience that watching an old flick in the outdoors just can’t be beaten.
This week the action moves to Victory and there is even more on offer than the movie, Fantasia, and the amplified picnic that sets the scene at the Victory Community Centre on Thur 21 Jan. There is an exciting evening of fundraising activities that starts at 6pm with NZ music playing, giant board games, hula hoops, Lark in the Park activities, delicious food to buy and the famous Victory community picnic atmosphere.
This is a Towards Zero Waste event so please Pack Out what you Pack In and BYOC (Bring Your Own Crockery) for food from the foodstalls.
The screening of Fantasia will begin shortly after 9pm. The Victory screening is the only movie with a wet weather option. If wet everything will simply move inside the Community Centre.
The Victory Community Centre committee has created this event to encourage community fun and raise funds for projects at the centre.
