Homegrown Call For Entries
Homegrown Call For Entries
MIC Toi Rerehiko in collaboration with the New Zealand International Film Festival 2010, is pleased to announce the first call for submissions for Homegrown 2010, New Zealand’s premiere showcase for local short films, video and animation.
MIC Toi Rerehiko has been curating the Homegrown programmes of short films and videos by New Zealanders for the New Zealand International Film Festival since 1997.
Fourteen years on, Homegrown is an established and always dynamic platform for bringing the innovative work of the independent film and digital media community to a diverse national and international audience.
Homegrown consistently attracts the most cutting-edge and innovative works from both established and up-and-coming Kiwi filmmakers. From the poignant to the skillfully irreverent, the Homegrown programmes present a uniquely contemporary New Zealand cinematic vision.
We are interested in receiving submissions from filmmakers who would like the opportunity to have their works screened to a diverse and discerning Film Festival audience.
