Media Release: Friday 5th February 2010

The National Youth Brass Band of New Zealand commences their 2010 Summer Course in Dunedin 12th Feb followed by a concert tour of Otago and Southland.

Following on from rave reviews at the 2009 International Youth Musicale in Japan the band will perform a wide range of entertainment including works by Stravinsky and Shostakovich, celebrated New Zealand composers Gareth Farr and Ken Young, well known jazz standards and even a vocal tribute to Elvis Presley.

This is without doubt the highest quality brass and percussion youth ensemble New Zealand has seen for some time”
