Being a Booklover is now more Rewarding

Being a Booklover is now more Rewarding

Friday, 12 March 2010 - Dymocks customers are reaping the benefits of their Booklover’s Rewards programme, with the announcement that Dymocks have partnered with Vii, a leading retail customer loyalty specialist that delivers loyalty solutions to prominent retail brands.

Having recently completed the introduction of state-of-the-art retail POS software from Advance Retail Technology, who is headquartered in New Zealand, the partnership with Vii has injected the necessary retail loyalty expertise and seamless technology integration that will enable Dymocks to take their Rewards programme to the next level.

The new system will bring a range of opportunities to further differentiate Dymocks’ rewards programme and enhance the shopping experience for its customers including customer identification at point of purchase and the ability to process transactions without the need for a card. This enables Dymocks staff to engage with its best customers and offer them more convenience.

Don Grover, Dymocks CEO is thrilled to unveil the new platform for Booklover’s Rewards.

“Our Rewards Programme has been very successful for many years, with customers attracted to the great value and benefits it offers them each time they shop at Dymocks. Now we’re going one step further allowing customers access to their rewards in real time and watch these grow quickly with every purchase” said Don.

“The introduction of Advance Retail has certainly revolutionised our POS systems, and the knowledge and level of efficiency brought to the table by Vii has completed our technology transformation. This will deliver real value for our franchise owners, customers and the Dymocks brand as a whole” concluded Don.

The Dymocks Booklover Rewards Programme is free to join and members can enjoy exclusive benefits, including the e-Booklover magazine with all the latest news on books and authors, automatic entry into competitions, VIP shopping events, invitations to author events, double rewards points and bonus offers sent via email.
