V Energy proudly presents the ultimate warm up competition to the infamous V48Hours furious filmmaking - the V48Seconds Mildy Furious Filmmaking competition.

Whether you’re a budding James Cameron, busting to show the world your spectacular directing talent or you just want to dip your toes in to prepare for V48Hours, this competition is for you. Remember, film experience is not a must-have; V48Seconds is for anyone with access to a camera – even if it’s on your phone.

An expert judging panel including NZ’s queen of comedy Jaquie Brown and the brains behind V48hours Ant Timpson will choose the V48Seconds winner who will walk away with $1000 cash, a year’s supply of V, four iPod Shuffles, a 42” Panasonic TV, a whole lot of ‘V’ merchandise and a V48HOURS 2009 DVD. But that's not all - There are heaps of runners up prizes PLUS five lucky people will have their films played to the nation on C4, as part of the V48Hours series airing at 10:30pm from May 3 – May 20. The series will showcase the best of the V48Hours films.
