Lucky $1 Million Lotto First Division Winner In Wellington
One lucky player in Wellington will be celebrating tonight having won the top $1 million Lotto First Division prize this week, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.
The winning Lotto ticket was sold at Wellington City New World Lotto in Wellington.
Powerball First Division was not struck tonight, so the jackpot for next week will be worth an estimated $6.5 million. Strike Four was also not struck tonight and will jackpot to $200,000 for next week’s draw.
Tonight’s other big winner was Auckland grandfather, Edmond Reidy, who spun up a $100,000 prize on Lotto’s Winning Wheel.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was sold at Countdown Masterton in Masterton. The serial number is 720-53357350-20XX.
“Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any NZ Lotteries outlet."
