WE LOVE SOUNDS music festival is set to embrace its own star line-up of New Zealand music when it hits three K-Road venues Studio, Ink and Coherent on Friday June 4th.

The impressive Kiwi line up boasts some of New Zealand’s most sought after musical talents including Minuit, P Money, Naked and Famous, Kids of 88 Live, Dick Johnson, Tim Phin, Maya & Vanya, Mt Eden Dubstep and many more!

New Zealand Festival Director Paxton Talbot is excited about the New Zealand festival line up.
“We’ve worked hard to secure New Zealand’s biggest and most enjoyable dance and pop culture acts for the first ever WE LOVE SOUNDS. We’ve compiled the best world class local talents we could find,” he says.

Speaking of “world class” Minuit have been rising to new fame with their brand new album and have even had their track “I’m Still Dancing” used in hit U.S. TV show Grey’s Anatomy. Our local darlings were summed up well by Rolling Stone Magazine “Minuit's music is often as joyful as a fat kid with cake”. Their uniquely quirky electro-pop crossed with indie infused melodies will wow fans with their polished performance.

Also making international waves is New Zealand's most renowned Producer and DJ P Money. With a long list of awards, successful hip hop and dance collaborations and a recent Australian tour under his belt, P-Money has quickly become one of the country’s hottest and most high energy acts. With a double platinum and platinum album, plus runaway NZ #1 hit single “Everything” (ft. Vince Harder) which hit UK radio waves and underground clubs around the world – it’s not hard to see why he’s a must see act!

World famous out of New Zealand, Mt Eden DubStep have exploded around the world when recent track "Sierra Leone" gained over 4 million views on Youtube – unbelievable! After posting the track they became one of the most in-demand DJ duos in the country. Their DJ show has been rapturously received and they have back to back shows booked in the US, UK, Russia and Canada. Catch them quick at WE LOVE SOUNDS before the rest of the world does!

Kids of 88 have unleashed themselves on the New Zealand pop culture scene with their innovative New Wave, electro sound and catchy hit tunes. “My House” has been adopted as the new C4 music theme song, while “Just a little bit” is still hot in the charts.

Keep your eye on the Naked and Famous! With their recently released song “Young Blood” rising through the charts with gusto, the ferociously talented group are a sure crowd favourite at WE LOVE SOUNDS. Their rack “Serenade” debuted at no.1 on the Radioscope National Alternative Chart and they’ve seen a string of top ten successes.

Sister duo Maya and Vanya have a lot to shout about as recent winners of a prestigious global DJ competition held on the music platform “LetsMix.com”. They gained over 350,000 votes and were up against 3,500 global entries. Impressive stuff for two local Kiwi DJs who originally hailed from Croatia. Judge and DJ/Producer Sebastian Ingrosso named the girls” the ultimate Next Generation DJs.” The duo have recently played at the esteemed Miami Winter Music Conference performing at a string of the weeks parties alongside international DJ heavyweights.
