Juice TV Presents Electric Mistress

The Interconnector single release

Featuring

Autozamm

& DJ Tina Turntables

Thursday July 8
John Andrew Ford Car Showroom (Cnr Ponsonby & Great North Roads)

Juice TV presents ‘Electric Mistress’, the sizzling single release for hot new band Interconnector. Set in the stunning John Andrew Ford car showroom, surrounded by fast cars, models wearing Bonds undies and with superstar band Autozamm and DJ Tina Turntables making beautiful music, this is a unique release party you can’t afford to miss out on.

Exploding out of South Auckland with a swagger more often associated with the West, Interconnector have taken a diverse clutch of influences including Shihad, Deftones and Queens of The Stoneage and created a forward-thinking brand of rock n roll that is all their own.

With songs ranging from grunge ballads to hard rock, Interconnector lure you in with their good looks and catchy hooks and then hit you with face-melting solos and vocals so heavy they’d make Lemmy from Motorhead cry.

Sonic guitars fuse with chugging bass, furious drumming and sexy vocals to create inventive dirty rock that makes love to your ears, massages your brain and gives you a tingling feeling in your underdaks. Eschewing trends, these four lads from the wrong side of the tracks are the genuine article.

Interconnector have recently released a self-titled EP and have received radio play on The Rock, b-nets, Kiwi Fm and more. With the attitude of Motley Crue, the international potential of The Datsuns and the work ethic of a wench on a pirate ship, Interconnector deliver punk/grunge/rock at its finest.

“Sleek, tight and well put together this is pure sex. A much needed pure rock ’n roll injection into the arm of local music.” NZ Musician Magazine
