Koile track is Radio One’s next Free Music Dunload
To say the debut EP of KOILE is anticipated is a massive understatement. The Dunedin-based Pasifika reggae group have delivered the goods on Te Hua - a vibrant mix of traditional Tokelau songs in their own original one-drop heavy style. Radio One is proud to announce that the massive ‘Holomio’, which kickstarts the release, is free for download on our website! So head along to www.r1.co.nz, click on the Dunload link, and wrap your ears around the sound of the pan-Pacific power that is KOILE!
Following on from our inaugural Dunload, featuring Dunedin pop stalwarts Tono and The Finance Company’s ‘Tuesday Evening,’ Radio One is pleased to showcase talent from a completely different musical sphere. “Dunedin is a vibrant place musically,” explained Radio One music director Simon Wallace, “and we are excited about showcasing local musicians to New Zealand and the world, whether it a producer creating an amazing tune in their home studio, or a band the size of KOILE dropping the soundtrack to summer.”
