The Five Steps Of Rockers Anonymous 2

Just when you thought the coast was clear to let those rock demons run wild on you, Rockers Anonymous returns to save your soul and restore sanity to the world once more. On Saturday 17 July at the Kings Arms, an intervention will take place spearheaded by five of rock's top saviors from NZ and Australia to reform long suffering rock addicts.

Formidable punk rockers, The Rabble are back in NZ temporarily after touring the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Belgium and Italy to headline Rockers Anonymous 2 and to record their next record before they fly back to Europe later in the year. This may be the last chance you get this year to see these lads in NZ again and experience "Carry On", "Friday Night" and "The Battle" live. With two full length albums, an 8 track EP and numerous singles under The Rabble's belt, you will not want to miss this!

Flying in from across the Tasman are Sydney heavyweightsLungs. These guys are relentless having already toured with the likes of NOFX, Lagwagon, Strung Out plus too many others to mention. With four releases in four years, you could be forgiven for thinking these lads have a rock addiction themselves so they are well aware of whats needed, serving up their own medicinal modern punk rock brew in support of their new record "The Two Chief World System".

Wellington outfit The Outsiders have been busy waving the kiwi flag throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia recently as well. They've returned home just long enough to record a new album "The Words Will Write Themselves" and serve up some decent rock therapy at Rockers Anonymous 2. It won't be long before they head back out to assault the world with more international touring.

Should that still not be enough for those suffering severe rock addictions, Snakes Of Iron with their own crushing brew of dirty rock heaviness ought to be the nail in the coffin you need. Although this group is relatively new, its members hail from former bands like Cold By Winter, The Have and Los Muertos and they're no strangers to administering some severe rock lashings. Having already supported internationals like the Cancer Bats (Canada), Poison The Well (USA) and The Wilhelm Scream (USA), if you haven't seen these lads smash down their riffs, you really should!

Flaming hot all girl rock band, Litvak Attack join the Rockers Anonymous 2 line up to help exorcise the rock demons of those who require a female touch. With their hard edgy guitars, solid driving bass, fierce definitive beats, and soaring melodic vocals, the band will perform songs from their debut double CD/DVD 'Aftershock' and leave you breathless.

If you can finally admit to yourself that you are powerless over rock and that your life has become unmanageable, help is available through Rockers Anonymous 2 on Saturday 17 July at the Kings Arms. More information to aid your rehabilitation is available at www.RockersAnonymous.net
