School’s out

It was sun, snow and smiles all round at The Remarkables this week as thousands of people headed to the alpine sun for the mid year holidays.
Spike and Shred have been out and about playing with younger snow-lovers while teams swap the classroom for the slopes to practice their turns.
Ski Area Manager Ross Lawrence said it had been a busy couple of weeks over the school break with lessons, competitions, snow castles and fun days helping to keep kids entertained.
“Staff at The Remarks always look forward to welcoming children. It’s a great place to develop a taste for winter sports and the kids bring a fun and vibrant atmosphere to the mountain.”
