Nesian Mystik To Play
Live In Stratford!
New Zealand band Nesian Mystik will be playing one of their last shows together in Stratford on Friday 20 August.
The recently split band have just released their latest and final album together and will be performing their Polynesian culture music merged with RnB, Hip Hop and Reggae at the Stratford District Youth Council’s AREA 201 Gig.
Performances by A Kiss Goodbye (Tauranga), Home Steady Roots (Opunake) and Stratford’s very own Hip Hop group BPM will open for Nesian Mystik on the night.
Tickets go on sale at the Stratford, Hawera and New Plymouth i-sites on Friday 6 August for $15 and door sales will be $20.
The gig is being held at the Stratford High School hall and doors will open from 7.30pm. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase on the night.
AREA 201 Gig is aimed at youth 12 years + and is an alcohol free, drug free and smoke free event.
Stratford District Youth Council aspires every year to bring fun, cheap and accessible events to local youth in the District.
For the AREA 201 Gig they hope to grab the attention of youth in the rest of the Taranaki region as well. “It will be a really fun night, with good music, good people and we invite all youth from around the region to get on board and come along”, Stratford Youth Council Chairman Dylan O’Neill said.
