NZ comedian shortlist for Best Newcomer Award
NZ comedian shortlist for Best Newcomer Award
Without
saying a word a Kiwi comedian is making a big noise at this
year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Originally from
Christchurch, Sam Wills a.k.a The Boy With Tape on His face,
performs his entire show with a piece of black gaffer tape
across his mouth.
His hour long show has been acclaimed
by critics and his entire 3 week run at the Gilded Balloon
has sold out with more shows added.
And last night
he was shortlisted for in the BEST NEWCOMER category for an
Edinburgh Comedy Award.
A full list of the awards is
available here http://www.edinburgh-festivals.com/viewnews.aspx?id=2188
The
winners of the awards will be announced this weekend.
