Strong Competition for Auckland Tween Money Champion
Auckland, 23 September, 2010 -
60
teams of students from Auckland Intermediate schools vied
for the top prize of Auckland Tween Money Champion at the
2010 Inter-School Money Competition hosted by Duffy Club in
the weekend. The grand final was the culmination of a
process that began in July with thousands of school children
attending Duffy Club workshops and taking part in weekly pod
cast tutorials on real life financial and entrepreneurship
topics.
The winning team and the first to be named Auckland Tween Money Champion was from Albany Junior High School comprised of Edith Hu, Claire West and Anna Lin. Northcross Intermediate took out second place and Auckland Normal Intermediate School was third.
