Maori Portrait Artists Discussed In Conversation with Noel

Ngahiraka Mason is this week’s guest “In
Conversation with Noel Cheer” on Triangle/Stratos
Television. She is the Indigenous Curator, Maori Art, at
the Auckland Art Gallery and an expert on the work of the
late nineteenth and early twentieth century New Zealand
artists Gottfried Lindauer and Charles Goldie. For the
first time in 36 years, the works of both artists are
currently being shown together in a comparative exhibition
at the Auckland Art Gallery.
