‘art in the garden’
Students on the Bachelor of Applied Arts programme at NorthTec’s Kerikeri campus displayed their work at an end of semester ‘art in the garden’ display today. (subs 11 November). The students displayed their work and then shared the meaning behind it and the learning that they have gained from their creative process with their fellow students as part of their assessment.
Kerikeri campus horticulture and sustainable rural development tutor Clare Vallom said that she was delighted to see the students interacting with the garden space in this way. “It’s been my dream for some time that the applied arts students would display their installation art like this. It really showcases our beautiful campus and the creativity of our talented students.”
