Janssens sizzles at the Great New Zealand Sausage Competition !

The 2010 Great New Zealand Sausage Competition 2010 saw golden results for specialist deli and butcher Janssens .

Coming home with Gold medals for each of the categories, Beef, Chicken and Lime, and Cocktail Frankfurter Sausages, Janssens also claimed

Silver medals for English Banger and Chicken Cocktail (pre-cooked) categories, and Bronze for Pork . The 2010 competition results are Janssen’s best to date.

General Manager Steve Holyer, says “ It is an outstanding result, and highlights the quality and range of product we are striving for and I am delighted for my team who made it possible.”

Janssens, located in Auckland’s North Shore is renowned for its butchery, delicatessen and speciality meat products. Holyer adds “ we are known as a purveyor of the finest New Zealand meats and products, with a wide range of traditional and innovative products. We are particularly proud of our sausage and continental meat recipes which have been handed down through three generations and adapted for today’s tastes.
