End of Year Exhibition Shaping up to Be a “Favourite”

Christmas has come early this week as Fusion Gallery and Studio in Lumsden prepares to open their final exhibition of 2010 titled “A Few of our Favorite Things” this Saturday the 4th of December at 7pm.

An impressive selection of artwork has been gathered from Artists all over New Zealand, offering a diverse range from contemporary NZ landscapes right through to sculpture and even some installation art.

Gallery co coordinator Michelle Wallis has said of the upcoming exhibition “We are so excited to be able to present such an interesting collection of stunning artwork from both NSCAI members and non members alike, we have some fascinating pieces from talented artists such as Auckland based glass artist Ilsa Osborne as well as more work from popular contemporary artist NSCAI member Maria Lindsay who is now based in Keri Keri and has sold out quickly in the past”

“The art we have will appeal too many and I think it offers a great chance to purchase a unique gift for someone special this Christmas, this exhibition is really the perfect way to cap off our first 6 months of being open”.

A Few of our Favorite things is set to run from this Saturday at 7pm with a soft opening at Fusion Gallery and studio , where wine and cheese will be provided, all welcome, through until the 18th of December.

Normal Gallery hours will be Saturdays 10 am – 3pm and Sundays 11am – 2pm. Artists participating are NSCAI members Maria Lindsay, Amy Mackiewicz, Claudia Recorean, Joanne Borgman, Michelle Wallis and Sharlene Schmidt. Non Members are Soo Eun Lee, Margaret Feeney, Angel Gynp, Ilsa Osborne and Natasha Shackelton.
