So Long, Farewell etc....

In the words of "Boyz II Men," it looks like we've come to the end of the road. Yes, this is the final BATSmail for 2010 but it is still jam packed with all the BATS info you could ever want!

Christ Almighty continues this week with two shows a night. Make sure you don't miss out on this wild and irreverant show featuring some of Wellington's favourite actors. Check out more info and some of the spectacular reviews below!

Also, make sure you check out some of the shows coming up in 2011, starting with Paul Rothwell's new play No Taste Forever which marks the return of David Lawrence and the Bacchanals to the BATS stage. A huge cast of dancing vegetables will be gracing the stage so this is one summer show not to be missed.

We also have our final maintenance week, and any help is always welcomed, as well as our final party of the year from 2pm on Monday so make sure you stop by so we can wish you a Merry Xmas.

Whatever you are doing for the summer break have fun, stay safe and we will see you all back in 2011 for another year of awesome NZ theatre!

What he discovers will shock you to the pit of your stomach.

THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE by Kate McGill and Emma Draper

In a kitchen in 1959 Joan and Joyce have an unexpected meeting. What begins as an afternoon like any other unravels around them as they find themselves in a crisis that will offer them both an escape from their stifling existence.

Maintenance Week

Soooo... Next week is the great year end BATS preening week, where we clean, preen, paint, drill, fix and generally make the place gift wrapped so we can have a chillaxin Christmas.

We’d love it if you could please come help! We’ll be doing the work all next week from 9am – 5pm and no amount of time you can spare is too small.

You might spot the new Business Manager if you come help us out too... Not that you would need a bribe to help us out right?! Although we do have tickets and other goodies to bribe you with...

Just email anneliese@bats.co.nz with when we can expect you to come help out, along with a contact number that would be great. Anneliese wil be in touch to confirm.

and in The Pit Bar...

Saturday 18th December - Closing Night!

Trickbaby plays the Pit to celebrate the closing night of Christ Almighty and the last night in the Pit for 2010! Join us for some good times!
