FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
It is with incredible regret that Love Police and Muchmore Music bring the bad news that THE BLACK KEYS will not be heading to New Zealand and Australia for their shows scheduled to begin in Wellington this Thursday at the Opera House. The band will also not be performing at any Big Day Out festivals throughout both countries.
This from the band's management ...
"The Black Keys are sorry to announce the cancellation of the New Zealand and Australian tour including all appearances at the Big Day Out touring festival as well as a portion of the European tour in March. An arduous year of touring and promotion has drained the band and necessitated time off. Dan and Patrick wish to thank all of you who have shown such incredible support since the release of Brothers and have helped make the album a success."
The band was to perform sold out shows in Wellington, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne as well as the Big Day Outs.
ALL TICKETS PURCHASED FROM THE POINT OF SALE WILL BE REFUNDED. Please refer to TICKETEK & REAL GROOVY WELLINGTON for all refunds.
