The Comedy Launching Pad
The Comedy Launching Pad
Comics, poets, improvisers, musical comedians, all are welcome at the Humorous Arts Trust’s Raw Meat Mondays, kicking off on Monday 31 January.
Hosted at Fringe Bar since 2009, Raw Meat Monday has become the place for Wellington performers to test new comedy material, and the perfect place for those new to the stage.
Comedy gold and comedy coal, each night is a guaranteed gamble. But if you’re trying out for the first time don’t worry, Raw Meat is the best place to start. Fellow performers and audience members are more than happy to share a celebratory (or commiserative) drink afterward.
Getting behind the mic is only an email away. Contact the Humorous Arts Trust at comedy@thewhat.net.nz to book a place.
