AmeriCARna Country Fair provides family fun for all
The AmeriCARna Country Fair is set to be a highlight of the exciting three day festival coming to Lower Hutt in February.
Thousands of people are expected to pack Lower Hutt’s Civic Centre to experience the fair which includes a line up of over one hundred American cars from across New Zealand.
Free family entertainment includes face-painting, airbrush tattoos, mini hot rod rides, a rock climbing wall and more.
Magicians and comedians will be performing adding to the atmosphere and promising to keep all ages entertained.
Those that attend will also be treated to a wide variety of food stalls, along with several trade stands and live music.
Mayor Ray Wallace is encouraging everyone to come along and enjoy the festivities.
“AmeriCARna is an exciting event for our city and the Country Fair is set to be one of the highlights.
“Whether you’re a car fan or not, it’s going to be a fun family day out and we are expecting a great crowd,” he says.
The Country Fair takes place on Saturday 26 February from 10am to 4pm in the Lower Hutt Civic Centre. Entry is $10 for adults, $5 for children, and $25 for a family.
