NZ’s Best at CheeseFest!

NZ’s Best at CheeseFest!

2 February 2011

Lovers of New Zealand cheese can expect an even bigger and better cheese extravaganza at the Monteith’s CheeseFest next month.

New Zealand’s finest cheese makers will present their award winning cheeses for sampling at The Langham for one night only on March 2, 2011. There will be more space, more stands, more cheese to sample and more chances to purchase top quality cheese at terrific prices.

Monteith’s is the new sponsor of the event which takes place in The Langham’s Great Room from 5pm-9pm on March 2. For the first time there will be cheese and beer matching opportunities along with winners of Cuisine’s Artisan Awards who will have their own farmers market set up, featuring their winning products.

Meet the cheesemakers, discover award winning cheeses, sample cheese galore, enjoy Monteith’s beer tastings and buy the country’s best cheese at bargain prices.

This year’s Monteith’s CheeseFest will also feature the inaugural Global Pizza Challenge, sponsored by Fonterra Foodservices, which brings the country’s best pizza making professionals together to vie for the title of New Zealand’s best pizza maker. CheeseFest goers can sample these efforts for $1 a slice with proceeds going to Dine Aid. The winner will compete against the world’s best at the global competition held in Sydney later this year.

CheeseFest is part of the Cuisine NZ Champions of Cheese awards – New Zealand’s prestigious annual cheese awards CheeseFest offers the only opportunity for the public to experience our best cheese in what is one of New Zealand’s standout industries.

Book now at www.eventfinder.co.nz. Tickets are $30. Learn more about our celebration of great cheese at www.cheeselovers.co.nz
