The Almighty Johnsons Launches With Almighty Results
TV3's brand new local
drama The Almighty Johnsons launched to hugely impressive
ratings last night and proved to be the show to watch with
audiences. In the 18-49 demographic, the episode did a 32.2%
share and in the all important 25-54 demographic The
Almighty Johnsons scored a 29.5% share, easily beating
Castle and Brothers & Sisters on TV1 and TV2
respectively.
These mighty results come as no surprise given the fact that The Almighty Johnsons is written by James Griffin and Rachel Lang - the hugely successful writing duo behind ratings powerhouse, Outrageous Fortune.
Kelly Martin, 3's Director of Programming says:
"These strong launch figures prove what we at TV3 knew, that New Zealand is ready to welcome a new Kiwi family into their homes. We are delighted with these results and proud to be offering Kiwi audiences such a fantastic local drama."
