Magic Travellers Network Hits the Dance Floor on Our 20th

It’s an exciting year for Magic Travellers Network as we celebrate our 20TH anniversary. Tonight we are hitting the town to celebrate in style with a massive ‘M Party’ birthday bash. We’ve got friends and colleagues from the industry coming to the shindig for a night of hullabaloo, hoopla, festivities and fun to celebrate all the successes of our 20 year history. As part of the celebrations we’ve got heaps of promotions going on so check out our Facebook page. As an added bonus on our birthday we are giving away a range of exciting free activities to some lucky passengers buying passes today.

20 years ago today, three mates got together over a beer and hatched a plan to share their love of NZ with like minded young travellers from all around the world. From a small operation in the early days Magic has since grown into one of New Zealand’s most well known, multi-award winning, tourism companies.

Today, just like on day one, Magic’s focus is still to provide a unique New Zealand experience and share everything the country has to offer with backpackers from all over the world. Magic Travellers Network now takes it’s passengers to all corners of New Zealand and provides them with unlimited opportunities to push their limits and have the experience of a lifetime – whatever that may be.

Over the last 20 years we have been and are still doing things right as we’ve become the highest awarded backpacker bus company going round. Among other highlights and a long run of success at previous events, 2008 produced an unprecedented sweep of the New Zealand Tourism Industry Awards. Taking the line honours in both the Tourism Distribution and Visitor Transport categories; alongside the winning of the Tourism Transportation Services Major Category section; the Qualmark – Mark of Quality Award; and the big one, the overall Supreme Award. Magic is proud to be the only backpacker network to have won this prestigious award.

While awards are fantastic, for us it’s all about our travellers and their experience of New Zealand as our guest. 20 years on, our highly experienced and knowledgeable team are enthusiastic to give our travellers unforgettable and unlimited experiences around New Zealand.
