Upstairs Gallery Update

Just a few updates from my desk…

2. Auckland Arts Festival’s White Night (2-20 March): “For one magical evening, Saturday March 12, Auckland's museums and galleries will stay open till midnight, featuring special exhibitions, activities and performances. White Night is a must-attend event for contemporary art-lovers and an exciting night out for the whole family.” The Upstairs Gallery will be open for White Night with our present exhibition ‘Essence’, a beautiful display of both stone and glass sculpture by two local female artists. The artists themselves will be on-site and available to talk about their work. Roselle Amoore from 4:30 until 8:30, and Lauren Kitts from 8:30 until midnight. 4. All In One Sitting (for Wednesday 9th March from 10-1pm): Come and meet fellow artists and spend a couple of hours drawing in and around Lopdell House. Registrations close on Monday 7th March. Payment can be made on the day. Phone the gallery for more details: 817-8030.
