Roller Derby goes international in the Capital!
Richter City Roller Derby (RCRD) is proud to host New Zealand’s first ever international interleague roller derby game on Saturday 19 March at the TSB Bank Arena, where the RCRD All Stars will take on the Sydney City Assassins.
Richter City is proud to present this bout in association with Outgames 2011.
The Sydney City Assassins are the Australian Eastern Region champions and RCRDare preparing for a tough bout.
Fresh out of their interleague bout against Auckland in December, the All Stars have been training hard in preparation for their biggest, most exciting challenge yet.
Almost exactly two years since playing Wellington’s first ever roller derby bout, Richter City are keen to show their fans just how far they have come.
With two home seasons and two interleague bouts under their belts, the All Stars are a mix of experience and fresh blood, with several players making their interleague debut on the 19th.
Don’t miss out on your chance to witness roller derby history in the making!
