Plunket Shield date changes confirmed
New Zealand Cricket today confirmed changes to the playing dates for the last three rounds of the 2010/11 Plunket Shield.
Following changes to rounds six and seven to recognise the impact of the 22 February Christchurch earthquake, the starting dates for rounds eight-ten have been adjusted by one day each. This will ensure sufficient rest and recovery between rounds seven and eight.
The altered dates were agreed between New Zealand Cricket, the six Major Associations and the New Zealand Cricket Players Association.
The revised dates are as follows:
Round eight - March 21-24
Round nine - March 28-31
Round ten - April 4-7
