Audio: song for those who lived and passed in Christchurch
Maori man composes song for those who lived and those who passed in Christchurch
Haami Utatao is an urban Maori with a degree with honours in Maori studies. But his current pride and joy is a song he has composed and sung as a tribute to those who have passed and those who remain in Christchurch.
The song concludes with a Poroporoaki farewelling and honouring the dead.
The piece is attached and I am supporting him to get some exposure so it can reach the people who really need to hear it. This is a live demo captured to enable him in this process.
