Cityfitness to host International Zumba Celebrity Beto Perez
6 April 2011
Cityfitness and Zumba
International have announced a VIP 'master class' for
invited attendees on Friday, 8 April at 12pm taught by Zumba
workout creator and co-founder Beto Perez. This marks
Beto's first trip to New Zealand, which will include the
class for cityfitness members and guests, as well as a
'master class' for all Zumba instructors in Auckland, to
which Zumba Corporation has arranged to fly Zumba
instructors affected by the Christchruch earthquake. The
cityfitness class will last around 40min, including time for
questions.
Mr. Perez's dancing and love of latin music sparked the Zumba workout years ago, and since then, the workout has become a fitness phenomenon. "We are honored to host Beto at cityfitness", said Allyson Donnelly, director of programming, "Beto's ability to inspire is unparallelled and his love for Zumba and its connection to the public are present in everything he and Zumba Corp. do."
