David Dallas Set To Release New Album ‘The Rose Tint’ For Free Digital Download on May 11th

Kiwi hip-hop artist David Dallas has announced the date he will be releasing his new album The Rose Tint. The album will be made available for free download from www.daviddallas.net on May 11th. The Rose Tint features the singles “Til Tomorrow”, “Sideline” featuring Che Fu and the current radio single “Caught In A Daze” featuring American MC Freddie Gibbs.

David, now based in New York, recently inked a deal with U.S hip-hop tastemaker label Duck Down Music. Since relocating to the U.S last year he has been impressing stateside audiences and industry folk alike. He recently won an MTV U.S online poll, with American audiences crowning him their MTV Iggy Artist Of The Week. His music video for the song “Big Time” has been added to MTV across the U.S - a huge break for any new artist.

His talent has also been recognized on some of the worlds most influential hip-hop sites including Nah Right, 2dopeboyz, XXL, The Source and 50 Cent’s own This Is 50 amongst others. His video for “Big Time” got a shout out from Kanye West on his personal blog. With a simultaneous release date across the globe for The Rose Tint David Dallas is set to fly the New Zealand flag high as he continues to collaborate and compete with some of the biggest names in American hip-hop.

The Rose Tint is the follow-up to David Dallas’ 2010 Tui award-winning debut album Something Awesome and features production from Fire & Ice, Dan “Exile” Mawby, Nick “41” Maclaren and P Money.
