Latest fashion jewellery collection from Paris hits Auckland
Inspired by the latest in French runway fashion, the new season "Nostalgic Romantic" fashion jewellery collection from AGATHA Paris helps Kiwi women finish off their look and standout from the hum drum of winter.
Nostalgia rules in 2011 with elements of antique and vintage style, floral prints and sheer fabrics gracing the catwalks of Paris. Accessories play an important part this season, as fashion collections are bold and colourful, so or are the accessories:
• Necklaces are bold to balance the solid volumes and to stand out among the bright prints
• Wrists this season are covered with bold and colourful bangles, cuffs and bracelets, and often worn in multiples
• There are plenty of dangling earrings on the runway, and a few shoulder Dusters
• Heads are adorned like never before - hats, hair bands and headscarves adorn the heads of models
• Bags remain small, but this time patterned and trimmed, shoulder bags are back
• Shoes are mostly heavy, be they big platforms or heavy straps
The new season "Nostalgic Romantic" collection features faded, old-fashioned flowers on brooches, hairclips and rings with powder pinks and blue grey accents infused through out. Nostalgic Romantic also features hair accessories with a double function, pin/brooch.
AGATHA Paris NZ's Mitchell Grant says "Nostalgic Romantic gives Kiwi women the chance to add some fashion into their everyday clothes without spending a lot of money or buying a new wardrobe - changing your look is as easy as adding a standout piece of fashion jewellery".
The Nostalgic Romantic collection hits the AGATHA Paris New Zealand boutique at the top of Vulcan Lane on Monday 16 May.
