As part of the build-up to the Rugby World Cup, TV ONE
is replaying the 1987 Final tomorrow afternoon at
4:30pm.
The extended highlights show features the best
play from the historic All Black win over France at Eden
Park and is the second episode of a 13 part series of
classic rugby world cup matches that TV ONE will screen over
the next 3 months.
Classic Matches screens during Skoda
Game On between 2-5pm on TV ONE every Sunday. Each episode
will also be available for seven days following screening at
TVNZonDemand.
Online is also 5+ minutes of news coverage
from 20th June 1987 courtesy of the TVNZ archive. The
coverage includes the match report and the post-match
interview by Phillip Leishman with All Black Captain, David
