NZ Short Film 'Blue' Wins At Cannes
May 19, 2011 - The NZ Film Commission are pleased to congratulate director Stephen Kang and his team on their amazing win at Critic's Week at Cannes today!
Stephen has just won the 50th Semaine De La Critique Grand Prix Canal + Du Meilleur Court Metrage Best Short Film. Stephen and his producers Tara Riddell and Leanne Saunders are in Cannes to support the film and to talk about his new feature Summer Rhapsody also to be coproduced by Severe Features and Curious Film. The filmmakers feel very proud to represent New Zealand filmmaking and the award is a huge honor and validation of Stephen as a directing talent.
Stephen's feature film Desert is currently running in Auckland cinemas.
