Wattie's Very Special Soup - Taking soup-lovers to the world
To celebrate soup season and New Zealand's favourite winter warmer, Wattie's is offering soup-enthusiasts a chance of a lifetime to win a trip for two to the Golden Ladle soup festival in Lille, France or the Buffalo Soup Festival in New York.
The Golden Ladle soup festival in Lille, France, takes to the streets to celebrate the art of making great soups, with hundreds of people from over 5 continents participating. Whilst at the Buffalo Soup Festival in New York, 35 of the top restaurants compete in over 30 categories, serving their best soup creations to the masses - American style.
Wattie's Very Special(r) Soups use only the finest quality ingredients and coupled with Wattie's distinctive taste it's no wonder Wattie's soups have been a Kiwi favourite for generations. Now Wattie's is giving soup-lovers a chance to test their taste buds at one of two international soup festivals - and judge for themselves whether Wattie's Very Special(r) Soup is truly world class.
Soup-lovers can enter the draw for a chance to win one of these great prizes by simply purchasing two cans of Wattie's Very Special(r) Soup and entering at the checkout at participating supermarkets. Each week long trip for two includes airfares, accommodation and spending money - not to mention the chance to sample some of the world's best soups!
"We can't wait to hear how the lucky winners measure our soup against the best in the world. Wattie's as the number one soup brand in New Zealand* we are confident our soup will rate alongside the best in the world!" says Kerry Allen, Marketing Manager Soup, Heinz Wattie's.
