Our first screening - YOJIMBO - rescheduled for Monday

CPIT have just confirmed that they've
reinspected all of their buildings after Monday's quakes
and they're all structurally sound. Yay! So - apologies for
the short notice, but - we will reschedule our opening
film for this coming Monday, the 20th, at 6:30pm in the CPSA
building.

Our screenings, I'm sure you know, are open to members only, but membership this year is only $40 and gains you free entry to all of our screenings. PLUS the NZ International Film Festival WILL be on in Christchurch this August, and a film society membership will get you discounted tickets to every festival film.
You can join online and pay by direct deposit, so it's quick and easy.
Because of the quakes, we haven't printed our normal lot of 5000 full- colour brochures - so we need a bit of help spreading the word. Please help us out and tell all of your friends and colleagues about us. I think there's a real craving for some interesting films out there, and it'd be a shame if people didn't know about us!
